Great food at a great price! Stopped in Fayze's for an evening meal. The bread was very good, and three different types were served (roll, sliced, and garlic toasted). I had the Bacon Bourbon Beef Tips, with rice, potatoes au gratin, and a salad. The house honey mustard dressing was excellent on the simple green salad! I was able to cut the beef tips with my fork, and the potatoes were outstanding! With water, my meal was about $17...just about the cheapest "real" restaurant meal we found in La Crosse. Fayzes Fayzes is a wonderful restaurant. I was told that it was the place to go when coming to La Crosse, and I would agree. They have very good bread, a great bakery and a fantastic menu for any meal of the day.
The BEST local eatery! Fayze's is awesome. The food is SO good, and I've always had good experiences with the staff. I've been there at various times (for bkfst, lunch, and dinner), and have gotten a fabulous meal each time. This place isn't your everyday chain restaurant. It's a local, friendly, yummy place. You'll definitely want to stop here and pick up some of their fresh-baked bread.
Restaurant Fayzes is a smaller restraurant but is ALWAYS busy so you know the food is good. The decor inside is just so warm and cozy. There is a wide variety of food selection even for those who are watching their weight or on a carb diet. They work along with one of the area hospitals with the 500 club. The prices are very reasonable for the portions you get.
