Recently family members of my step son were celebrating their young sons birthday. The young boy loved firefighters and fire equipment. A call to the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Dept. by a family member asked what would be the possibility of the department bring one of there engines to there house. Lights and sirens arrived at the home to the excitement of this little guy. He was able to sound the sirens and air horns. Then was able to try every seat on the engine. I couldn't be more proud of them. Great job to everyone....

I'm 74 years old and in Fayetteville since my youth. I have had to call for emergency medical support for my self, family and neighbors. Always my needs and that of my neighbors was met with exceptional courteous care and respect. Over years the leadership and individual member volunteers have strived to obtain the highest level of training and performance. I'm proud of my Fayetteville Volunteers!

Jeff D. Cutchall, past Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Assistant Fire Chief and Life Member of the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department , brother of James W. Cutchall passed away Tuesday morning. Nothing has been posted on this site or your other Web site about this. WHY??? Disrespectful. Thanks to the Franklin Fire Department for hosting JD Cutchall life party. Tom Kissner
