I came in as a new client walk-in. Ms. Johana was so kind with scheduling and that hospitality is rare - I really appreciate her patience and help. When I walked in, I knew instantly it was perfect because my pup’s tale was wagging (something that never happens at the vet). The wait was not long at all and everyone was kind. The best vet experience I’ve ever had. I was nervous coming in, but Shaniqua was very friendly and immediately put my mind at ease. They explained everything clearly, including costs before any treatment, and made sure I was comfortable with each step. Dr. Holland was professional, friendly, and informative. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. Appointment was on time. All of the staff once we went back were so kind and knowledgeable. No one was pushy and it wasn't a money grab like we've experienced at other vets. Highly recommend. Update after a follow-up appointment: Was given a test without a price quote first and had sticker shock when the appointment was over. Also, was unaware of the follow-up appointment cost, which I guess is my fault.
Been with this vet for 12 years. They were amazing all the way from our first visit with our first dog to our last visit with our first dog when we had to put him down. We still go for our two cats and Dr. Jackson is the best. He genuinely cares about animals and being affordable for everyone.
A long review. Our animals have been patients at Fayette Veterinary Medical Center for years. We've always had positive experiences there, but this last one was extraordinary. We were scheduled to leave town, and had our Yorkie scheduled for boarding. Unfortunately, the day before we were to leave town he was diagnosed with an ulcer in his left eye.
