Have a loved on at South River Healthcare and the communication is very poor. Loved on fell no one called. A booster shot was given no request info or was received to check if patient had already received a booster. Papers were sign and copies were not delivered to family as promised. This has all occurred in one weeks time. Doesn't sound promising ??.

This facility is very neglectful has poor patient care also serving COLD FOOD to patients. Very poor management

My daughter was a resident at ******* HeathCare Center from October 2019 to August 2021. When we checked her in, we filled out her meal restriction form indicating that she did not eat pork. The next day (her first full day), the meal that she was served had pork on the plate. This type of meal service of pork continued for months while she was there. I only gave this place one star because there was not an option for zero Stars. Call lights ignored meds not given on time. My family member sat in urine and f**** for hours sheets were soiled and not changed. Client had mobility issues and urinal was kept across the room where he could not get to it. So much more could be said all negative but you get the picture. If you love your family member do not send them there

The nursing staff is very lazy. They act like its a task to do anything extra. My father had a pacemaker put in and they never registered the Medtronic device which sends reports to the cardiologist. I found the machine 1 1/2 weeks later sitting on his dresser, because nobody knew where it was and didnt take time to follow up with someone in the family that could help them. My mother in law was there for the rehab portion. When she arrived she was able to walk, get on and off the toilet by herself. She hurt her knee, goes for "rehab" and now.... she can sit up by herself, can't walk, can't feed herself. She lost 24lbs in 1 month. Her feet are dry, cracked and have a fungus (both feet). And because of covid restrictions we didn't know or see any of this until she was finally home. They told us to come get her at 10am. Family took off, her paid caregivers came to assist to be told she can't walk ... read more

This place doesn't care for patient's. They do not give meds on time. They ignore call lights. Aides have attitude and refuse to do simplest tasks such as getting water. Roommate is hospice patient and has been completely ignored. They dont follow diet restrictions or med times or instructions.
