Dissapointing – horrible customer service-staff is very unprofessional and rude. tan was nothing special-lots of spots and unnatural. overall i was extremely disappointed. i had high hopes based on the many complimentary reviews but in truth, i was completely unsatisfied and felt like i pretty much just threw my money down the drain.

If you want to come in again for a free session - we promise to make it up to you (if you would have called us and told us you had spots we would have had you come in so we could have seen them and offered you a free session.) We try to go above and beyond for each of our customers. Again, we're sorry you didn't have that experience.
Just what I was looking for!!! – From the minute I stepped inside I knew this was going to be a great place. Everyone was so friendly and Liz went out of her way to make me feel extra special. She gave me the perfect color and it lasted for 9 days (that was an extra perk). I love all the retail products you can buy here - they have some really great handbags and dresses & many other things. The best thing is they were having this great sale. Can't wait to come back for my next visit.
Best facial I ever had. – I go to the same woman each time margie. The products they use work great for my skin and this lady is very knowlegeable and skilled. I actually started getting facials there when my co-worker went there and her skin looked so good I went there and it was great for me as well. And the price is right!!!
Get your glow on here! – This is the best airbrush tan I've ever gotten. Liz is a pro, she really does a great job. I'm so glad I tried Faux Glow. They also have a great staff, it was raining outside and they had someone go down and hail me a cab - now that's customer service! They even had umbrellas for sale. The next day when I showered, it turned out to be the perfect shade. Thanks Liz for giving me a beautiful glow!
Had Really Great Experience!! – I wanted to try this place for the longest time and finally I did, thank goodness! They were so nice there and I got the best color. People stop and complimented me all the time and asked if I went away (which of course I couldn't lie and told them about my new secret). AWFUL – the girls who take care of you here are like 16 years old and very unprofessional. I'm in the beauty business- I came out with the most unnatural looking tan- my beauty editors were laughing. I called & the "manager" was very unhelpful and had attitude. the location is awful- not at all swanky, the way it portrays itself to be. you get much better color (shockingly!) for a much better price at Beach Bum Tanning!

Our staff is the best staff working out there. We don't have anyone under the age of 28. This client was upset because we would not give her money back due to our spa policy so we did give her a free full body re-spray. She claims to have spoken to a manager - but our Manager is very professional and would not treat her unfairly. If you like the color ORANGE ... this is the place!! – Well, let me first say that I do not nor have I ever worked at Faux Glow! I see that most of the bad reviews oddly enough get a response from the owner saying that the person was retaliating b/c she fired them?? We were skeptical of taking her because of these comments, but we thought maybe it was just a fluke. Boy were we wrong. To make a long story short - since she loves to tell such a fabricated story. No Place Like Faux Glow...Best in NYC! – After trying several places in NYC - I finally turned to Citysearch and read about Faux Glow. They really are the best in NYC - I can see why they won the Best of Citysearch!
