Consider a VW and Cumberland Valley Motors Love it! I bought a GTI Fahrenheit there about a year ago and feel like I got a great deal. It's the first VW I have owned and wasn't actually even looking for a car when I bought it. But, after a test drive and talking with sales, I decided to buy it. Now, after visiting the dealership to get the VW serviced, I am thinking about getting another vehicle--Subaru has some cool stuff! I'd recommend them for sure.
Best experience ever! CVM is awesome! I just bought a new VW and I can't believe the great deal I got and how helpful and fun the salesman, Ryan was! He knew everything about the car and showed me things on the test drive the other VW dealers never thought to show me. I love my new CC! And I am so happy I made the drive to Mechanicsburg. I would recommend them to anyone!
Wonderful dealership!!! This dealership offers the best of the best vehicles. The staff is excellent- friendly, and they know their stuff. They always have the coolest cars and trucks on the lot- even an SRT-10 pickup!!! They also have a great parts dept. I purchased over $200 in just accessories- a lunchbag, a sweatshirt, a clipboard, etc. I haven't found another dealer that offers more cool stuff than this one. Worth the trip to Carlisle!! PROS: excellent selection of cars and trucks CONS: none
Shoddy, dishonest, incompetent... We bought a used subaru with 59K that had been sold, serviced, and traded in to CVM before it was auctioned to the small lot where we bought it. Less than 2 mo after our purchase there was total engine failure. We have learned that CV had replaced the engine at 44K two years prior and failed to disclose to carfax. More - the car had been returned and had spark plugs, hoses etc replaced ONE MONTH after they put the new motor in. We got a different story and piece of information every time we ... read more
Angela & Rich I had the best car buying experience at CMV. Everyone was so nice and there was no pressure. The attention to our needs was there all the way until the moment we drove off...with a brand new 2011 Dodge Charger RT!!! They made us feel at home and did not rush anything. Do Not Recommend Whatsoever Everything started out fine, then went downhill very fast with sales and service. Our sales person left employment at the dealership leaving us to work with someone else on future sales and service needs. This salesperson, Ryan, is arrogant and does not answer concerns or problems we have and elects to back burner all of our concerns and issues. bought a lemon here I regret ever setting foot in CVM Dodge. They sold me a car that was in need of several thousand dollars of repairs. They lie about their warranty and they do not return telephone calls. I am so sorry I ever purchased a car from them. I should have known that they were deceitful people when they laughed about another customer being locked out of his car. CVM dodge is located on Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg. Cumberland Valley Motors needs a new sales staff Looked at a VW and the sals lady knew nothing about the car then insisted coming along for the test drive. While driving the car she bashed my current car and complained about her personal life. I didn't buy the car and will keep my BMW that "wished it had all the technology VW has" according to the sales lady.
Hate having to go back there for service I bought a new minivan a year ago and love the car - hate the dealership. I ran over a curb and had to have a tire replaced. The whole experience was terrible in getting the tire replaced. They never called when it was done, when I went to pick it up the service lady asked me to wait since she was busy then she proceeded to help the next FOUR customers as they walked in while I waited.
