I have had many colonoscopies in McAllen with multiple GI doctors because of my cancer history. Yesterday I received my first one with Dr Ozcelebi, he is incredible, I will never use another GI doctor.
I’ve been seeing Dr Ozcelebi for about 12 years, and he is the most thoroughly understanding and patient doctor I’ve had. If there’s a wait, I can rest assure that he will give me his utmost attention to my issue, making the wait worth my time. Endo/Colon Scopes are superior with him, and the medical staff who assist him. His office personnel are very friendly and helpful too.
HE HAS A LOT OF PATIENCE TO EXAMPLES THE PROCEDURE HE IS GOING TO DO, ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.

I didn’t realize I had my daughter’s insurance card instead of mine. I called my referral dr for information and provided to ozcelebi’s office. My referral dr even faxed a copy of it along with my drivers license. They refused to accept my BCBS insurance because I didn’t have my hard copy. They refused to call BCBS to verify benefits and insisted I paid cash as a private pay. I was told that it was a “law”. I requested a copy of this mentioned “law” -Never gave it to me- Be aware!
Dr Ozcelebi and his staff are very friendly and made me feel at ease when I was nervous before my procedures. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.
