Responded swiftly (almost too swiftly by insisting on coming on a Sunday, which surprised us); the younger man tried to talk us into replacing major pieces of slate that would have required dismantling the entire staircase but we pointed out to him that the scarring on the bottom piece of stone was caused by a lawnmower scraping the stone and not a split in the stone. The walkway is perfect. The clean up job is not so perfect. They were leaving and I asked the father if they were going to take the old 4x4's that edged the old walk and he said there was no room on the truck and to talk to his son. I called the son right then and he told me he couldn't take the wood because he had no were to put it. Like I have some where to pit it!!!!! They also left a pile of old weed mat on the front lawn. When I worked for constructon we cleaned up everything!!!!
