St. Vincent de Paul is only out for themselves, not the homeless. Employees haven't received a raise in more than 5 years yet the upper management are living very good. They are ripping off everybody--don't give any money to these people. BTW, every one of their programs is failing and the homeless population is increasing.
If you happen to cross paths with Marc Stevenson be very careful. The guy is a major backstabber who won't hesitate to throw you under the bus. He is a director for project 25 and I would be hesitant to support this program in any way. BTW, he is an ex-con who did prison time.
As a December, 2011 resident, my stay at the village was delightful & rewarding. People helping people and learning new skills for getting the job and mostly discovering ways to get along with others, this is the place to start life all over again. Thanks to the diligent staff & employees who truly cared at the PMC & JKC buildings I was able to sore to my fullest potentials.
What a huge blessing for our community.
I donated my very first car to Father Joe's Villages back in 2007 when I still lived in Portland, Oregon. Now that I live in San Diego, I'm so happy to see that the organization is still doing such great work helping our neighbors who need it the most!
Father Joe's Villages has a 3.3 star rating with 177 reviews.
Father Joe's Villages is open now. It will close at 4:30 p.m.
