North good but South very bad ! The employees in Easthampton are good but don't go to the one in East Longmeadow unless you like being treat like an uncool piece of s**t. Unless you ski or ride everyday and dress with the most up to date gear they will make you feel like an uneducated homeless person that wandered in off the street looking for loose change.
Fat Trax is THE shop to shop for snowboard stuff Every time I walk in to Fat Trax, I want to get tons of stuff. It's true. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable, not like the big box stores, like dicks or sports authority!! they take their time and don't try to sell something more expensive than you need to have a great time on the hill. They have a bunch of different options and choices and are always willing to take their time with you to make certain you are happy with your purchase. They rock.
Snowboarding equipment from the experts I took up snowboarding last year and needed to buy everything from the snowboard to the riding gear. Al though I did some on line researching of the necessary equipment, and had some idea of what to look for, I still did not know everything.
