We were driving from Vancouver back to Seattle and decided we wanted bbq so we randomly searched on maps and this one popped up with great reviews. It was a bit out of the way but we had time to kill so we went there for lunch. What an unexpected find! The food was amazing, we had the rib plate and the pulled pork sandwich. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t actually BBQ. As someone who grew up in the heart of BBQ country (Austin TX), and lived in Georgia and Tennessee for some time. I’m just super confused on the offerings. To me personally I’ve had shrink wrapped pulled pork from HEB with much more flavor, than this. The sauce was overly sweet, the sides are all really basic. Essentially a zero creativity restaurant that tastes packaged to me, sort of like when they did “bbq” night at summer camp in Colorado. Just sort of dissatisfied for $16

Ribs and cornbread is out of this world. Service was amazing. Parking is great. What a find!!!

The staff, Bao is very friendly and funny lol. He likes to joke a lot. The food is delicious and relatively cheap. I will definitely come back for more.
