Rue wasn't cooked long enough for the mac n cheese. Pulled pork wasn't as good either. The chicken my boy friend ordered was good. Other then that, service with a smile.
I'm glad we stopped at Fat Daddy's before heading back to Honolulu. There is no good American BBQ place on Oahu, mostly Korean and Japanese. Fat Daddy's really reminds me the BBQ in Texas. My wife and I ordered a Sampler Plate which includes chicken, ribs, brisket, sausage and pulled pork. The food was great. You can tell the amount of time they used to cook those meats. The restaurant is not too big actually, so you will get ample amount of attention from the servers. All in all, an excellent place!
Absolutely the best BBQ smokehouse I've ever eaten. The burnt brisket ends were amazing! I definitely recommend this place and will go back every trip! Great food and excellent service!
The BBQ ribs and the pulled pork sandwiches were good, I have had better. I don't know if it was personal expectation or Triple D hype. However, the mac n cheese was terrible. No salt, I know personal taste, but this was beyond that, and very little cheese. It was pastey and tasteless. Like eating expensive Kraft mac n cheese. The homemade potato chips were great.
