RecommendedWe had 7 people in our party last night. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The ribs were fantastic, barbecue chicken was great, food was hot off the grill. The waitresses were genuinely pleasant and fast. Prices were very fair.
Me and my family went here 4 times last week on vacation. The one day we went there twice in one day! Each time we went we had something different, and everything we had was delicious! It's a no frills, very laid back kind of place. The service was great, everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

We went to Fat Crabs Rib Company at an off time, 3PM. One other table was there when we ate. Food was reasonably priced and prepared well. Drinks were self serve which was good so you never needed to wait for a server to get your table drinks. Bathroom was not on premises which is why I the star rating was not higher. In order to use the restroom, one needed to leave the restaurant, go down a board walk past several other establishments, turn right, go past more shops, turn left at the mini golf and use a public restroom. Got the bbq sampler and seafood sampler...Bbq was GREAT!
OK, was a bit hesitant but went on the recommend of an acquaintance. Only CONS were the restrooms were outside and down the walkway and that I couldn't eat more. PROS - great BBQ. 3 of us ordered the NC Pork platter. Q has good smoke/rub flavor and sauces were good (yes I like a little sauce). The sweet fries were delicious, but let me tell you the COLLARDS were out of this world. Asked the waitress from the get go if they were canned I didn't want them. Don't waste your money! The restaurant smelled horribly fishy. The food that was listed as an entree plater should have been placed on the appetizer menu. The barbeque brisket and barbeque chicken was dry and the sauce wasn't any better.
