The gentleman host was not welcoming. We suspected he could be one of the managers. We felt less like guests and more like a chore. The waitress, however, was great. The food was not worth it. Better green beans and salmon can be made at home and unfortunately we had a horrid experience with the mushroom risotto. A package from the supermarket tasted better. Eaten here twice - brunch & lunch. The food is great!
Our first Visit to City Kitchen and it was ok. Making the reservation was super easy. Not very welcoming when you walk in - no one really greeted us and we were eventually walked to our table after a few minutes. Our server Maria was very nice. My son loved the fried shrimp, although the serving size is super small. My salad and salmon was just ok. Strawberry daiquiri was ok, more like a martini. My daughter thought the salmon had no flavor and i have to agree the same for mine. It was just okay for us today.
Excellent experience overall.
