This is my first time here and I will be back for Kat
Disappointment doesn’t even begin to describe my experience. The restaurant stands at a 4.5 stars at the time of writing this (we ate there last night) so I expected a nice quant restaurant experience but instead I was met with school cafeteria level food. I will say, the fried cheddar cheese was great. The tomato sauce was delicious as well. However the main courses were mediocre at best. The food was very good but a cockroach walked up the grate that divides the dining area from the bar. My wife almost had an aneurysm from the fear of this thing jumping on her. Will we go back? No. The only other restaurants I’ve seen daytime cockroaches in the dining area has been a Waffle House in San Antonio and an old hole in the wall Indian Restaurant in Cincinnati. Enough said.
I had the jalapeno cheddar cornbread waffle and it was delicious!
