I was just blown away by the terrible customer service the older lady with red hair and glasses provided me. Came in to ask about a couple of bolts I had already seen on the fastenal website. Without measuring, analyzing, or asking about the bolts she told me there was "not a chance" that they had those bolts. When I asked about ordering the ones off the website you could tell that was really inconvenient for her. I left stunned and ordered direct from the website. Who would have thought that a fastener supply store wouldn’t carry a 3/8-16 X 2 1/4 hex flange bolt. The guy behind the counter didnt offer to order it for me either. His words….”I could probably bring it in”. Probably? If I can order it online I know for a fact he could bring it in. Stores and customer service like this is why I eventually end up ordering online. Would sure love to spend my money local but some people just make it tough.
