The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. Had a surprise Birthday party for my son’s 30th Birthday! Fun atmosphere, good food. Get there early if you want several tables
Great atmosphere -- friendly people (lots of them), top-shelf musicians, tasty food -- even fresh popcorn! My brother (we call him The Legend) got in and out without having to sign any autographs for once, which was nice. I would recommend Fast Eddie's to anyone looking to relax and have a good time.
