After not having seen a dentist for years, I finally had to go to see one becuase of severe toothache. Doctor told me that I have a decay that has reached the nerves and I may need to have a root canal. She also said that she would try to avoid that if at all possible. After removing the cavity, I had a temprary filling to make sure I don't have to do a root canal. After couple of weeks and no pain, she filled it permanently.
