Dan did an incredible job replacing our landscaping with a much better design from top to bottom. Communication was good throughout the entire process, and the work was done carefully and professionally. We're blown away with how nice everything came out, and can't recommend Dan highly enough to anyone looking for a professional landscaping job.

Farwest Gardens has done yet again a fabulous job for us. Dan is great to work with and very knowledgeable. He did a wonderful job on our large stone retaining walls that needed redoing after loosing two old maple trees. He redid our front retaining walls a couple of years ago and we still love the work. This second job is just as good. I highly recommend!

Dan transformed our mess of a backyard into an oasis! We had multiple landscapers come out to do bids over the last few years and Dan was the only one to be willing to work within our budget while also providing a complete transformation. We live on a hillside with a steep backyard and Dan came up with a design that incorporated our desire to have a walkable space while also taking into consideration our young child and her needs for a backyard. Bad experience with a smile: I needed to replace a 50 year old failing concrete block retaining wall and chose Far West's bid because they are close by, offered a competitive price vs the other bids and promised verbally they would "try to save" my row of roses next to the old wall. Dan did not even try to save those roses. He ripped them out along with all of the good top soil and the old wall and hauled them to the dump. Awful work, took months to complete when it was promised in a couple of weeks. A lot went wrong and the end result was not good. Also, Dan asked for $ throughout the work even though contract was to pay balance at end of project. I would give zero stars if I could. I had to hire someone else to fix their work. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
