The driving philosophy is to view time as a commodity: no one has enough of it and all of us want to enjoy it. If it takes a certain number of man hours to design and build a home, why not do it as efficiently as possible? A Farrell Signature Spec Home is designed and built in under a year. unprofessional, illegal practices, over budget
Levittown comes to the Hamptons. I’ve never seen such a lack of taste. Poor design, poor construction. The one person I met who bought one of those homes wasn’t happy with his decision. A real estate agent took me to see one of their homes, and I was appalled to see an identical home next door (literally identical—I kid you not—the only difference was the color of the window trim). I can only imagine that they sell mostly to lottery winners. Can’t imagine who else would buy one of these buildings.
