Bunion removal surgery on 2/9/2023, my foot bled for 14 hours, I did the emergency next morning post-op with Dr. Farrar to change dressing, which was soaked with enormous amounts of dried blood. No weight on the surgery foot for almost a week, the overall pain was excruciating, none of the pain killers help. Very slow healing, continuous swelling, inflammation. Dr. Farrar seemed knowledgeable and competent and I would definitely see her again. I did have a concern about the office. The waiting area is small with just a desk for the receptionist so no privacy regarding conversations. After completing and returning my paperwork the receptionist asked me questions regarding my medications and medical history. My responses could not help but be overheard by others in the waiting area. This is something that needs to be addressed and corrected.
I went to see Dr Farrar today in OB today and could not be more please with her and her staff. Very thorough and friendly.
Dr Farrar is so easy to talk to and focuses completely on your problem. She has resolved several issues for such as plantar fasciitis.
Beware. Do not buy inserts through her office. After 6 visits with different "adjustments" the inserts still did not work, still causing pain. Despite their failure she will not give me any refund for the inserts and the 6 visits. She is more interested in getting as many people in and out as quickly as possible.
Lisa Farrar is a awesome doctor .She is specialized in Wound Care ,Heel Pain ,Hammer Toes ,Bunions, fractures and Sprains .She really cares about her patients and staff.She is a excellent Surgeon and I would refer her to any my family and friends.
Doctor Lisa and her staff were very supportive backed by excellent treatment. Highly recommend.
I have seen Dr Farrar since 2012. She is fine but the office staff is beyond miserable and mean. Office manager Donna at the Ormond Office didn't care that my foot might be broken (it WAS broken!) She refused to send over the notes I needed that day for my health insurance to authorize an MRI. I explained it was Christmas and if they didn't today (I'd tried all day - about every time I called she was at lunch which was weird) that I wouldn't get it in time.
