Sadly, Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Home is no longer the community-oriented, family-owned business it once was. Last year they were purchased by a national conglomerate in Pennsylvania, and since then the new owners have installed a crematorium at the location, which is located half a block away from a large elementary school playground as well as the neighborhood community garden.
