Love FVMC! They are the best! They are always quick to get my fur babies in and take great care of them!
They take such good care of my Dane. He boards and goes to daycare here. We are so thankful for FVMC!!
I’m only giving one star because there isn’t an option for none and posting a comment. The staff has always been kind to me but the doctor that comes in when Jeremiah is gone is an absolute quack! Because of her, we no longer have our sweet Stella!! She had our baby all day and waited until night(she was leaving the next morning) to insist on surgery, then left her there, alone, after the surgery was done, and she aspirated(they said). Dr. Alexander and staff are the best. We would not take our babies to anyone else unless Dr. Alexander wanted us to. If anybody has fur babies and needs a veterinary we would hope to go this this man. We give Farmstead Veterinary Medical Center 5 stars up.
My 13 yo wirehair dachshund, Winston was given some bad new last week. He has an enlarged heart and has fluid in the chest cavity, Dr J prescribed Salix (lasix) to help him get rid of the fluid, problem is the sulfur drug made him sick and he threw up all night. Yesterday Dr J came up with giving him pepto-bismol about 30 minutes before the pill. Winston hates liquid meds but he loves to eat, so I mixed it with brown rice— looked disgusting—but Winston gobbled it up. Waited 25minutes , then gave him his pill. He didn’t get s... read more
