We went for dinner and had a great time. For was all good
Food was not very good at all. Items were either mislabeled or unlabeled. Warm foods and desserts were barely warm or not warm at all. The sliced turkey was literally jerky, the chicken nuggets tasted like the fryer and flies were buzzing around the dining room. Honestly not worth the high price tag.
Cold food - Poor service from Staff - $70 for 2 Buffets before tips IS BULLSHIT!!.. Not taking care of old Boyds Bear building is a shame. WILL NOT RETURN EVER! Not enough waitstaff either!! PLEASE, Go find somewhere else near Gettysburg to eat like Dobbin's Tavern or Irish Pub to eat at.
This is unfortunately an edit of my past review. We have been back a couple times recently and it is going downhill. Dessicated food that sat out forever, incorrect labels on the salad bar, teenage staff in the buffet goofing around, 15 minute wait for drinks from the bar, dirty tables in the seating area, and vaguely attentive servers has been our experience more than once as of late, and both nites were NOT busy. This is no old country buffet for those who remember that place There is nothing home cooked here Basically the food tastes like it came out of a can. Save your money go somewhere else Top of the line is definitely at the Dobbin House pricey but delicious.
