What happened to the Farmhouse? We've been there several times and it was always excellent, with lines and a waiting list. This morning we went and it was terrible! It should have been a clue when there was hardly anyone there at 10am on a Sunday. I ordered the Belgium waffle and was told the waffle iron was broken, so I got the French Toast. It is small and busy but once you get a seat the food and the service was great. There were some dishes I had never heard of that were variants of more common dishes and the dishes we tried were great. The bloody mary has bacon in it (awesome). The coffee is ground right when you order it and set in a press with a timer in front of you to push down when it's ready. I think the millionaire's bacon deserves it's own paragraph. Had a very nice brunch here. Waiter really impressed us by recognizing that the kitchen made a minor mistake on our order (fruit in the pancakes, not on them). He delivered the mistaken order with the rest of our meals and informed us that our correctly made order was already on its way. We ate both orders. Food was delicious! Nice, casual and bustling little place.
