Best Fried Chicken – They had me a mac & cheese... and boy was it gooooood! I usually despise fried food but after a few long hours of tossing back some brews in the sun I obliged. Between the 5 of us we had 3 orders of fried chicken and mac & cheese and 2 orders of shrimp and grits. Safe to say there wasn't a morsel of food left at the end. Highly recommend this place (despite the highly questionable neighborhood)
Best.Fried.Chicken.EVER! – This is the best fried chicken I have ever had. If you are a fan of southern food, this is the only place you should go in San Francisco. The restaurant not only has a great atmosphere, but the food is authentic.

Don't go to Hard Knox if you want think that the friend chicken is the best here. I've had a few good meals here. Horrible parking and area for a restaurant though.
sings to the heart and soul ok, the first thing that was great about Farmer Brown was that it was open late. We were looking for a nice place to eat at around 11PM. In the City you can be hard pressed to find anything other then a slice of pizza or a diner at that hr. The server and bartender didn't seem put out that we came in that late which is always good.
