My insurance went from full coverage to liability only bc of a yearly fee I didn't even know about. I was on auto pay for the policy but apparently not that. The. On top of everything my agent was unavailable to answer questions and none at the office thought it important enough to reach out about this even though I was on auto pay and paid every payment on time. Ridiculous service. Looking for new insurance!
Farm Breau as a whole has hit rock bottom !! They don't care if you've been a customer 30+ years or not. My thing is I have to keep lowering my coverage to afford it, but now that my home is 25 years old they will no longer cover it, it has to be covered by some other underwriters group. The estimate on my insurance for 2026 is said to be $2800 - $3200 a year, REALLY who can afford prices like this. This is a review of North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance, and not any one office or agent. It was nice having an agent that you could call and he'd take care of your insurance needs, whatever they were......but.. Had car insurance claims and they canceled our policy. Then they told us they could insure us with another company, but the cost was much higher. Got better insurance from a major carrier for the same price as the policy they were canceling.
