I cannot speak highly enough of Farlap & Associates. I was completely shocked when I received my "new" assessment and instantly panicked. I knew I had to do something and came across this company in one of my Facebook mom's groups. Everyone raved about their quick, easy, flat rate service. I am a believer and truly appreciate all they did to help me fight back on the ridiculous assessment!!
We purchased the 3-year package and had success the first year. There was confusion about ongoing memberships but I finally got a call back from Angelo who explained his side, and I had to renew. This company can probably save you money but be aware they can be hard to get ahold of during the reassessment season. They rely on you reading long emails or you tube videos for information. I've been using Angelo's company for 2 years now. I have been amazed at how easy him and his team make it to submit appeals online. Thank you so very much! We were hit with a very high property tax bill 2 years ago that almost doubled our mortgage. Because of Farlap Assoc. We were able to get our property taxes down almost 3k for the year. We just recently recieved more good news third year as values went up we are able to bring ours down again, not as much as last year but at least we avoided another hike. I have been a client for over 12 yrs. FARLAP has always provided me all the info I needed to keep my taxes as low as Cook County would allow. Their fee is low and communication is excellent.
