I have been a patient at this practice for 3 years. I am taking 3 norcos and 6 tramodols a day. I am paralyzed on half my body and have terrible crps. I was volunter at hospital but cant even do it anymore. I have been on these meds for over 5 years. The other doctors I saw continue medicines. i do not abuse them. i am a senoir citizon. this doctor stopped my norco. he wont even allow me to see him in apointment. phone system sucks at his office. on hold for over an hour every time. go to another clinic

I've been a patient of the practice for ove 1 year. My Dr left the practice and I was switched over to Dr Abusharif. Without discussing my problems with me he cut my medications by 25%. I have had numerous failed back operation an a failed knee operation with a second knee operation requored but can't be done for 6 months. He refuses to discuss my case with me and I have been advised if I don't like it I cam seek another pain management practice to go to. Dr Abusharif is a true professional and the best in the business. He is VERY knowledgeable and compassionate to his patients and has the best bed side manners I've ever seen a doctor have as he truly cares about his patients. Even though at times there can be a bit of a wait for your appt, it is well worth it.
This doctor is routinely late for ALL appts. On June 7th, 2018 I told him he was 1.5 hrs late for our appt to which he replied he was sorry. At that point I told him ALL previous appts were also over 1 hr waits and could we show up an hour late for future appts to which he replied “then find someone else to treat you, I don’t need this” and stormed out of the room, slammed the door and refused to treat my wife. I understand doctors run late on occasion, but this doctor could care less.
Dr. Abusharifs office NEVER calls you back, the phone is constantly with the answering service and I have never had an appointment that I did not have to wait HOURS for him.
Dr. Abusharif leaves his patients waiting for hours. He does not thoroughly examine them and does not come up with long term goals or plans for his patients. I’ve been going for years with little relief. Saw a new dr today who has plans for a bright future for me.
Dr Abusharif is great as long as you do not have any issues with medications. No one calls you back.... I usually have to leave 4-5 messages a day to get someone to call you back.... And even then you are not guaranteed to get a call back. I have never had this hard of a time getting a hold of a doctor ever. I am honestly thinking about finding a new pain manager even though I do like my doctor.
