My kids and I love Dr. Hakimi (can't quite get hubby to make his appointment)! She is gentle and kind and has been particularly patient with my oldest, who has previously had scary experiences with our former dentist. As a result, he no longer tries to make excuses for why he can't go to his appointments. I had my first crown done last year and was completely pleased with the outcome. She took her time and made it perfect and it looks as good as a fake tooth can possibly look. Thanks Dr. Fay!

BEWARE! This dentist's only concern is to get more than what a patient already paid for IN FULL at check-out. If at all possible, a "no-star" rating is well deserved. BEWARE of statements being sent, after the fact that she, herself, discussed and approved final bill the day she rendered service, that was the same day patient walked-out of the office after paying IN FULL, based on the bill she approved both with the patient and billing/reception person. I went to Dr. Hakimi for a root canal -actually 2. By the end of the first one I switched dentists. She leaned on my mouth as she was working - nearly cutting my lips. She had a very unprofessional manner of looking in the mouth. She put a temporary crown on that fell apart in 12 hours. When called she said "so?" - as if - why is this a problem. When she put the permanent crown on it was so large and uncomfortable that the tooth next to it eventually cracked. This was one of the worse dental experiences I have ever had.

Dr. Fay is great with kids. She is patient and keeps kids from getting scared. She has great alternate names that kids understand for all the equipment that she uses. She makes reasonable recommendations as needed.
