Farheen Makani is my most favorite PMHNP-BC. She always makes me feel heard. I feel part of my treatment and that is invaluable. I have been seeing her for a long time and I feel the same after every appointment. She is consistently kind.
Dr.Makani listens to you in detail and comes up with solutions that fit your need best I could not be more grateful to have found her and her help me out and feeling the best version of myself. Highly recommend
I'm updating my review for a few reasons, mostly so people know what to expect. I had her only for a few months, I have been to a psych unit previously and wanted someone who could handle a more complex issue, so speaking about stuff can be challenging. One thing that's difficult is talking about things that trigger me- One being my ward visit- her response was " you were traumatized by only one ward visit? Just one?"
