I do not have a complaint with Dr. Khan directly and would rate my care received by her with 4-5 stars. However, I am very concerned about the ability to contact her about medical questions or when additional guidance about a medical condition is needed . It is impossible to speak to her directly and there is no option given to speak to a covering Dr or NP. The admin staff gatekeep, which is really unfortunate. You're also going to wait a while for the appointment, but I think it's worth it since you're waiting because she ran long in previous appointments due to actually listening to her patients and caring about their problems. waited almost an hour for physical, appointment time was less than 10 minutes, felt rushed and disregarded. save yourself time & find someone else.
***The review is written by my daughter as I am 75 years old and I do not speak English.***I did not get to see the provider as the appointment was over 30 minutes delayed and in conflict with my other commitments. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited 30 minutes, which is 15 minutes after the appointment time. When asked the staff what time I will get to see the doctor. I waited over an hour and only spoke to her about 7 minutes in total. She didn't give me the chance to express any concerns. I was not given a platform to speak in those 7 minutes and then sent me off with an appointment for next year. She was nice and all, but didn't seem interested in addressing my concerns. She was more so concerned about getting to the next patient. If she had just asked me if I had anything I wanted to talk about, I would have given 5 stars.
She was rushed. Only spent about 5 minutes in the room with me. Dismissed my concerns and told me she did not have time for my health issues so she wanted me to make an additional appointment. Also failed to record the right weight in my chart/visit summary.
I've had a session with Dr. Farah Khan in terms of Primary Care - Diabetes. She was able to provide insight on this medical condition and the required medication. I highly recommend seeing her for annual physicals, prescriptions, and other internal medicine concerns.
Dr. Khan's office was very accommodating for an urgent visit. Jess, the practice manager, personally outreached to triage my issue. Dr. Khan was excellent.
