I checked into the er on July 2, 2016 with excruciating back pain. No nurse or doctor seemed to care. I was prescribed lidocaine patches and steroids, even though I could not afford. I returned on July 6, 2016 in even worse pain. The nurse never even examined me and the attending doctor classified me as an addict. He never once examined me. They said the meds would be less than $20. I paid $200. Luckily I went to uf shands. After xrays and an mri, I was diagnosed with degenerative spinal arthritis. Palmetto Nassau needs to r... read more

After being a patient for over 5 years I had to reschedule an appointment six weeks early because of travel plans. I regularly visit every 3-4 months. I was told the next available appointment was over 4 months out. When I finally got to see the doctor I asked what would have happened if I had been sick and she said "I don't treat sickness. Go see your GP." Sad attitude for a doctor seeing me for lupus.

I needed a prescription refill that had run out. Called the office to get a refill, to find out there was a 2 week wait to see Dr Sramm. The staff told me to cut my remaining pills in half and take every other day rather than write me a script to cover my wait time to see the doctor.

My husband had a kidney stone and was in severe pain to the point of throwing up. The ladies that checked us in was very nice and efficient. The nurses let us sit there for 30 mins and him crying in pain. When we were called to the back after asking the First Ladies how much longer?? there was nobody in the back. There was no reason to have to sit there that long other then they were not ready to start their shift. We arrived about 7:30am. After we were received in the back they worked fast as they could. My point is nobody ... read more

A er Dr Steven B. Kailes treated me for a cold i never had. I went to Baptist South E.R. With A Major spinal cord injury..My hands were numb,I couldn't walk and this dr. ignored what the paramedics brought me in for. He sent me home in a cab where i of course fell again and did more damage to me..I'm waiting to get get strong enough for emergency surgery which Dr. Kailes delayed through his neglagence. Pray for me. And pray that Dr. Kailes looses his medical license as he will do permanent harm to others as he has done to me

I have been seeing Dr. Cardona for approximately 2 years. My issue is not with her. It is with the office staff. They really need lessons in customer service and how to speak to patients. The reception window is fine and friendly. It is the people that answer the phones. They are rude, do not follow up, and really don't seem to care. In one instance, I had to spend numerous time and calls trying to track down my own lab results. They treated me like an annoyance even though there were changes in my medication due to my labs.... read more

I went to surgery on with two doctors on Dec. 23, 2014. I was promised a room for the outpatient surgery overnight, my discharge nurse was rushing me out of the room as soon as I came out of recovery. She didn't smile much and yank my IV out of my wrist. Let's just say I thought highly of this hospital until Nurse Ratchet came in. I left early, out of disgust! :-(
