My daughters in-laws have years attending and even participating in this event. The beloved matriarch of the Kenny clan and her sister were leaders in planning fun and making sure they had a beautiful site and invited everyone to attend. The tradition continues in her honor and the family members who left before her.

My family has had the same 2 spots along the rail for over 50 years. The event is a major tradition for us. My parents brought their 5 sons and friends starting in the mid-'60's. My generation then took over and brought our kids and now they are bringing their kids. There is nothing else like it. I have NEVER missed one in 52 years. I'm looking forward to #53. Come say hello at 770 & 771 on Chestnut Lane.
