Fan Man was a contractor approved by Duke Energy. They came in and advised us about our current home insulation requirements. They went out of their way to discuss the Duke Energy rebates and help us navigate adding insulation to the attic, removing insulation and improving vapor seal in crawlspace. Fan Man Raleigh did a great job removing our old batt insulation in crawlspace, and adding insulation into the attic. Allied SprayFoam encapsulated the crawlspace walls. The attic insulation process had been thoroughly explained by Rich Meador and all of my questions addressed. Adam and John , the installers,very prompt, professional and took care to make sure that the installation was completed without any incidents. I highly recommend their services.

My Husband and I called Fan Man after their truck pulled up beside us at a red light in Indian Land, SC. Our Attic Ventilator had gone out and needed it replaced. The service we received was superior and was handled in a timely manor. Mark A. Romano President came out and gave us an estimate which was competitive and the start date was within reason. The job is done, but it took 3 visits when it was supposed to take 1 due to the technician coming late and not coming with all the tools. The sales guy said the fan could go in one spot but the tech said it wouldn't fit. Why didn't the sales guy measure? The communication was very poor. The contractor was late each time 60-90 minutes. Highly disappointed. They are pricey so I thought the service would be exceptional.
1st visit - two installers arrived at about 9:30 (appointment was for 8). They put the initial plastic down and left at around 3:30. They said they couldn't finish the job but that a separate crew would be out on Saturday to finish 2nd visit - two different installers arrived, about 2 hours after the appointment time. They were there to put the insulation up against the floor.
