Customer Service was horrible Food is great, however, last visit was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. My wife and I have eaten here at least once a week for over a year and have never had an issue until last night. My wife ordered a greek salad and a cheese steak. One too many times Customer Service of the night time waitstaff leaves a lot to be desired. This is the 2nd time with the same crew, that I have had this experience. No refills, busy worrying about their social life behind the counter, no friendly smiles or caring attitudes; as if they really could careless about being there. Best food in town! I have eaten at Famous for the past 2 years, since I moved to Southport, NC. This is the best food in town; everything from the calzones to the fried chicken is AMAZING. The service is great, especially since they have changed up the waitstaff. I realize that some people have gotten bad service from the posts that I have seen, but I haven't personally experienced anything first hand. Our granddaughter found this place on Facebook. We decided to have lunch there today. The food is great. They're telling the truth when they say they have the best fried chicken. The wings we're hot and crispy when it arrived at the table. The fried chicken is awesome. Very fresh hot and a great taste. The servers are good, even though they were short staffed. My son and I stopped in for lunch today to finally try the fried chicken. I ordered a white meat two piece and my son ordered a gyro. The chicken skin was perfectly crispy and flavorful and the meat was so nice and juicy. They gyro was also very tasty (I snuck a bite) Seating is spaced out to allow for comfortable social distancing. Been sitting at table for 8-10 mins without being acknowledged at all seem more interested in talking to one another than taking orders from customers
Me and my boyfriend went to eat there and we actually do enjoy the food but unfortunately we decided not to dine in there anymore due to the girls that work there. We sat at our table for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order and we heard the girls talking to each other and being loud enough for us to hear what they were saying.
