Really really good it's worth the money...it's alot of food!

My husband and I always eat at Famous Dave's when we go to Branson (several times a year). We were there on April 21, 2016 to celebrate my upcoming birthday. We were very disappointed in the food. My "brisket" had no flavor and had the texture of roast. Our slaw was cabbage with a bare trace of dressing which made it have no flavor. Are first time there the food was awesome very friendly will go there again.
We were extremely disappointed after a 20 minute wait for a table (2 adults and 2 kids) to see a 10 top walk in and immediately get seated. Spoke to manger who was extremely unprofessional and could not really explain why it happened. In fact, his excuse was that they were understaffed. After a 3 1/2 hour drive we were very upset that we were treated so poorly and could not eat at our favorite place in Branson.
I was NOT impressed. The service was slooooooow and the food coming out was even slower. My salmon was covered in sauce so much that I couldn't taste the salmon. I had to wipe most off. Almost a forty minute wait for food when the restaurant was not guys was ridiculous!! Not coming back to this place.
We live Famous Dave's! We always eat here when we are in Branson!
My husband and I went in September around lunch. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches with fries. Our food was good, our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was clean. No complaints. :)
