Stopped in today for a New Year’s lunch. Even though there were only 2 other tables being used, it took the server over 20 minutes to partial clean 2 plates off a table, and she proceeded to leave anything else. One of the booths had food all over it, which was not cleaned when we left. The level of attention by the staff was terrible, but doesn’t surprise me. Since Ricky’s took over the Famoso chain the quality of food has dropped massively.
The food was great, as was the service. My wife and I have never been to this restaurant previously, but we'll be back.
It's been a while since I have been in a Famoso, we used to have one in Grande Prairie. We stopped at the St Albert location. I was remembering the super delicious banana Nutella pizza, it's been my favorite dessert since I first tried it. The lady said it's no longer on the menu. She said she might send a person to Safeway to get some bananas, she did, and she had that most excellent desert made for us. Such great customer service. The desert didn't survive. Thank you.
