Good food, friendly staff...but too much cigarette smoke in the place. Only reason for the 3 star rating is the smoke, didn't finish my lunch and now I smell like an ashtray.
Good food, good pricing, the only draw to this place is the smoking inside. They should install something to pull the smoke out.
The staff wasn't very nice, she dropped off the ticket before asking if we wanted any dessert, then when asked, I was told there was only coconut cream. When we left to go pay, there was a whole apple pie (she never mentioned). She ran my ticket told me it was $29.50 and walked away, before even taking my money. I don't know if I was treated rudely because I had a service dog,or if that's now just the current nature of the staff. The only thing that was really good was the baked potato. Food was ok. The atmosphere was awful. KY allows smoking in their restaurants which made it a lot less pleasurable to enjoy the food.
The service was great and friendy. Food was very good. Plenty of food for the price. Waitress always checked on me even though the restaurant was pretty crowded.
Stopped in for a late lunch yesterday....pinto beans, ham, and corn bread special was outstanding!!!! Friendly staff. Good service. Real value!
Great food. Good people. Love the down home environment.
