I have never been disappointed with the care that they take during my check ups! The staff are always so friendly and even when they’re busy, I never feel neglected. Could not recommend them enough!!!!
My family has been going to Family Vision Center and Dr Despain for many years now. He is very attentive and helpful. Always willing to go the extra mile if we have a special need. He works great with our insurance and his billing is fair and spelled out. Absolutely one of the best eye doctors in our region. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Despain for approximately 9 years . This year I saw him on July 23. He was doing a post follow up on my cataract surgery, because there is still an issue with my eyes . I've never had a problem with my bill from Dr. Despair until now. My bill for the July visit was sent Nov. 24, 2025 . It said that I had not met my Medicare deductible and I was being changed the full amount for my visit. I went to Dr. Despain's office and talked to the bookkeeper on Dec. 17 and the bookkeeper told me to call Medicare. ... read more
