I have Been in the optical business for over 30 years I’ve been retired for at least two I knew of Dr. Barrera always heard nice things about her. Just had my appointment today. All I can say is she is wonderful. Extremely thorough explained everything to me loved the attention and the exam. I went to her optical again talked to the optician told her what I wanted she explained everything in detail helped me select the right pair of glasses for myself. Such a wonderful experience. Optometrist does not rush what I think is vital to these type of services. Very professional service when I was attended. The only downside I had was that the glasses I brought where a little to wide on my face which I didn’t really notice until after they gave them to me with the new lenses. I wish the lady consulting me on the glasses would have caught that or inquired on it.
I have been going to this doctor for years and it seems like their services went from 5 star to 0 star. I had a 2pm appt., got a call the day before with a change in appt to 1pm. Took time off of work and took my son out of school to be there 20 minutes before. 2 hours later I had not been seen and there were still 3 people ahead of me. What's the purpose of the appointment? The front staff said, "wait time depends on the doctor". If your on a time crunch, go somewhere else!
