I rented 3 movies last night. Somehow my phone number was changed on my account. Now I have a $60.00 late charge and they could not tell me what it was for. I was able to change my number back, without them asking for my I.D. I wanted to rent the movies, so I had to pay half the late fee. I went back in today and complained and asked for a refund. They changed the phone number in my son’s account without asking for any ID... this person rented videos and received $60 in late charges... they refused to refund these fees even after we proved who the phone number belonged to... a man in Athens Ohio with a similar last name. The manager said it is not their policy to ask for ID even if you are changing personal information. Then they claim any fees are the responsibility of the account holder.
