Our bedding plants look better because they're grown better - we grow almost every bedding plant we sell at our own greenhouses. We travel nationwide scouting trial gardens and test sites to uncover the best varieties for our tough growing conditions and continually push to grow them bigger and better. Over priced and rude management The manager can quite difficult to deal with. I bought a viburnum and was told I could pick it up the next day. When I went to pick it up, it wasn't anywhere to be found. The manager went into a verbal tirade about the employees. Naming names and calling them "lazy and worthless". Little did he know my son was one of those employees. He treats the employees with much disrespect. Often I heard him berating the high school employees. We drive a long way to get to Family Tree Nursery I am shocked by the negative reviews. We have never had a bad experience at Family Tree and we trade there often. The people are always helpful, cordial and knowledgeable. I suppose if I had experienced what is being described in the negative reviews I would feel differently about the nursery but so far I have not seen anything like that. They're still on the top of my list.
Liberty's best garden center The best kept secret in town is the family tree nursery. They have any plant of tree you could think of at prices as good as discount store prices. The people who work there are knowledgeable about their plants and are helpful in identifying problems and caring for plants and trees. If you are just buying an annual or landscaping a new home you will find everything you need in this one friendly, family owned location.
Garden Center This place is great. In the spring and fall they have all types of trees and plants. They will come to your house and give you advice and a bid on landscaping. Christmas time they turn the store into a small Christmas store with live trees and beautiful poinsettias. Prices are a little high for the trees, but the quality is outstanding. Highly recommend this nursery.
Dissatisfied If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a tree, paid for them to plant it, paid for the fungus to help the tree grow - it had a fungus when I bought it (unbeknownst to me - I went back and looked - all of the dogwoods on their site had the fungus). They did not stand by their product. I was given a dollar off on a fungicide. Now, a winter later, the tree is mostly dead. just one new stem coming out of the trunk with one leaf on a 6' tree. Went back with my guarantee - nothing but a store credit for less than h... read more
