Very disappointed. I went because of a sinus infection. I paid my co pay to see the doctor only to be told that if I wanted to discuss anything beyond the sinus infection, I would need to make another appointment because he only scheduled 5 minutes. He fail to address my very high blood pressure, the fact that I may have a blood clot in my leg. The nurse even said your blood press and heart rate a very high. Is this malpractice? My husband went to this practice and was charged for a depression screening when all they asked was, "are you depressed?" This practice seems to use check ups as an opportunity to charge for things such as screeners and smoking cessation (even though had quit smoking over a decade prior)! The Dr prescribed random meds over getting to any root cause. A friend recently went here and dealt with the same thing. I'd go to Baptist Family Medical over this practice if you're looking for a new doctor.

Alitia Farmer M.D. is an outstanding physician. She has exceptional medical knowledge, skills, and she puts her patients first. When deemed necessary she efficiently refers her patients to specialists. Her genuine caring is obvious and aids immensely in the healing process.
