I changed PCP's because I felt I wasn't being heard. I was told that they will go above and beyond for their patients. I requested a referral to an ortho doctor based on my severe osteo arthritis. The sent me to the same ortho who dropped the ball last time. I've requested a referral to a different ortho for a month strait, and NOTHING. No call, no referral, just radio silence. I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has gone into my bones from my skull to my pelvis area. With that being said, I was hoping to have a Dr that cared about my treatment. I was seeing Dr Thakur and quite honestly, he didn't really care much and certainly was not active in my treatment. I have difficulty walking (swollen ankles and feet) and when I asked him about getting a handicap sign for my car, his reply with attitude was "not until you're in a wheelchair!"
