I ran out of medicine because of their stupidity. Now, for the third week, they keep saying that they will submit the pre-authorization to the insurance company in one day. It's the weeks and hours on phone with the insurance and they simply not submitting the application. I an out of my meds now and don't know what to do. I guess my next move will be a lawyer.
I went for my annual routine visit at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Sunnyvale on October 9, 2023 and gone for lab test at Los Gatos location on October 10, 2023. During the visit, we discussed about the health, labs and billing part during the visit with the doctor office. They convinced me that there will not be any surprising bills for this visit and labs and since this is an annual routine visit, all the routine tests will be 100% covered by the insurance and I will not be getting any surprise bills. The review is for the family medicine section only. I took varicella vaccinations shots here. The whole building has many different sections such as internal medicine, family medicine both 2nd floor and the imaging center ground floor. I had scheduled appointment . The appointment was on time and without any delay. I was explained well about the vaccination and all my questions were answered. I was also able to schedule appointment for the 2nd shot. There was ample parking available too.
