Urgent care has been helpful and prompt. Don't expect to be able to get an appointment with a new specialist for months. Bike racks are hard to find.
I drive out of my way to go to the MV Lab bc Adel is the best. I am extremely needle-phobic and he’s the best phlebotomist I’ve met. He is super gentle, and very friendly and professional. He’s done pretty much all my blood draws for my pregnancies because I won’t go to anyone else. I’m always in and out within 10-15 minutes with an appointment.
They are especially good at charging you extra. Be prepared for a $400 bill for a normal annual physical exam when you have high deductible insurance. This year I went in for annual physical exam. Worrying any question to my doctor will become diagnostic billing, I kept my mouth shut. The doctor ordered the very basic blood tests that I did for last year.
