The front desk is a problem. I have had some great care from the medical providers here, but they can't do their jobs effectively because this office is run by folks who are either incredibly callous or intensely incompetent. Let's call it both. If you are looking for medical care in Central Vermont I would avoid CVMC, as its on a startlingly steep descent.

the level of miss-communication and disrespect to patients at the front desk is shocking. For people who work, and can not accept last minute appointments at the drop of a hat, there is so understanding or collaboration. Leaves clients to feel extremely in the dark about their health care. Do better.

Many of the staff members in reception are dispassionate in their attitude towards patients. In a doctor's office, of all places, staff members should be compassionate.

I have been trying to get an appointment set up for 2 months. Every time I call I get told that they are waiting on my paperwork from my previous doctor, but they haven't received a request. There is no follow up, no updates so I finally told them today to forget it. They aren't accepting new patients right now so they are probably way too busy or understaffed, but unfortunately I have wasted two months.
