Ever since it became KU Med, they code your bills wrong and try and charge way more. Billing department wasn’t any help. Been going here for many years. My doctor also doesn’t really even seem to care or want to help with any issues or concerns I have.
I really liked my physician. Unfortunately she left early this year. Even though I am a patient and have been for some time, I have to establish with a new doctor or use urgent care. And the earliest appointment is 2027. My pharmacy sent multiple inquiries requesting my prescriptions be approved for refill. Thus far no response to the pharmacy.
I was just on the phone with a PAR trying to make an appointment with my PCP and was informed that it was going to be December before I could see him. I was voicing my frustrations with how things have changed since KUMED has taken over. I did not raise my voice or curse at her, and she hung up on me. Wish I could give 0 starts! I love my doctor and most of the staff, but this was uncalled for.
This was my first visit here. Went for Urgent Care. From the person who checked me in, to the nurse who took me back and Scott Brown the PA who treated me, the attention and care provided was stellar!
