I make an appointment to see the nurse practitioner. I go over all the questions and they schedule me. I get the reminder and then a call saying they cannot see me because my anxiety medication. I don’t get that from my primary care physician. She said we don’t see patients on controlled substances. I said oh so you don’t see people with mental health issues even if they have a doctor for that. She said no it’s our policy. Dr Paul Smith III is the most well rounded PCP I have ever had! Not only does he know his stuff when it comes to the human anatomy, but he has always been great, at diagnosing the problem, prescribing the right medication to treat the diagnosis, and spending enough time with me to make sure all issues are resolved..He is very down to earth, easy to talk to, and actually cares about his patients! He is my one and only PCP, as long as I live!
Dr boerma always covers all concerns, takes his time, is easy to understand, helps with everything.
After having been at patient at his office for about 30 years. I was dismissed today because of a no call no show appt where I thought the time was 10:30 when in fact it was at 10:15. So that was my last no show. I was told this while sitting in their parking lot. This office has changed too much. I still love Dr Boerema and the others here but I won't ever be back.
