Went for a wellness check up, which is 100% covered by insurance, then get a bill because apparently we discussed issues beyond a wellness visit. Only items we discussed was my medical history. They don't care, I was simply told over and over that I received additional treatment and that is why I was billed. I did not, all the Dr did was refill a medication I have been on for 15+ years. I guess he needs $100 to click a button for 2 seconds!!! I had a crappy Dr. appointment and got up charged for literally no reason.
I wouldn't send my dog here. It's pretty bad business is so slow you need to LIE to people to get business. I was referred by a different clinic who didn't have any openings for a week, and since I am completely out of medication I have been taking for 8 YEARS, I couldn't wait. I called and told the receptionist I was coming in SPECIFICALLY FOR A REFILL ON MY ADHD MEDICATION. She said it was no problem. I felt very uncomfortable whenever I went there. The seem to try to get you in over and over as though trying to get the extra money. After going to a new doctor I see the ones ruling the roost at Family Medical just care about money. There really was never any level of comfort. Its also somewhat odd to have medicine and the church mixed together. A- probably the rudest front desk I’ve ever had to deal with B- I was prescribed anxiety/depression medications by the doctors there only to put a bandaid on my issues. They do not care about your opinion or how you feel and will continually just push drugs onto you. If you are wanting to find the root of your problems I do not recommend going here.
